Today's DIY project is a very nerdy custom coffee mug. Admittedly, I was originally planning on just showing you how to etch glass by hand using the shot glasses in this video, but after my dipped coffee mug blew up in popularity I thought it would be fitting to make myself another mug. Plus, I don't have enough nerdy/geeky mugs (can one ever truly get enough?)

My favorite thing about etching glass using a grinder has to be the fact that I don't have to deal with caustic chemicals. Armour Etch works well enough, but I'm always so paranoid about getting it on my hands or other things that I don't want ruined.

Now that I have this project out of the way I can get back to finalizing my podcasting setup. Days like today make me regret becoming an audiophile...
