On todays episode we have a look at an amazing family vault of cars here in Perth. Carlo has been into cars from a young age and was influences by his dad having an EH Holden. So naturally he got an EH for his first car. He also had a 55 Chev but he ended up selling them as many did, to set up his family home. 20 years of life goes by and Carlo had never got past parting with his cars. and at that time in life he was ready to get back into his passion for cars. First he got a 55 Chev like the one he had when he was younger. and after a substantial rebuild with some amazing custom touches that we will see in a later episode, he and his son went looking for an EH for his son's first car. A full rebuild took place over a year or so and it was ready for him when he got his license. the car is a custom Gold colour and has a set of b45 Symons wheels. The seats were changed out for some more modern seats. and everything is trimmed to match. It's running a 202 straight 6 with a Celica 5 speed conversion and more recently a commodore diff. Carlos son daily drove it for a few years and he really looked after it. He was involved in the rebuild getting his hands dirty and he really appreciated what his dad had done for him. As a result the car is still in great condition.

Another 28 years on from its first rebuild and Carlo has pulled the car out of storage after 10 years. He has got it running and licensed and ready to go. He has a grandson now and we can all see where this is headed. the legacy of having an EH for a first car will live on. good on ya Carlo.

The next car we look at is his 1956 Chev pickup. This beast is running a 383 stroked Chev small block with a 671 blower and twin 4 barrel carbies. Turbo 400 gearbox and a Jag rear end. The front end has also been upgraded and in Carlos words it drives like a modern car. Its also hugely tubbed to accommodate the 11 inch wide wheels. It's paint is an unknown as it was brought in from America as is. But it a deep rich red with a nice bright flip.
