The Turntable.
One of the uses for the Essex Hot Air Engine was to drive shop window displays in the 1900s.
Here is my full size replica engine and turntable in action. I took the glass top from a patio table as an improvised platform.
Castings to build the engine and turntable are available from [email protected]

The Quick Step Mill.
This tool was invented in the UK by John Payne. The tool shown is a mark 2 version and has a 4 speed mechanical gearbox and reversible motor. It can be mounted in the lathe toolpost or on a vertical slide and can be used for drilling, milling, grinding and other operations. A main feature is the speed in which it can be quickly mounted and removed from the lathe.
