Christies 3.0 is thrilled to present ‘Life in Our Minds: Mother Flock’, an interactive NFT by Random International and Danil Krivoruchko that allows viewers to physically influence the movement of a flock of Boids, 3D bird-like origami objects that represent the individual NFTs from the ‘Life In Our Minds’ collection.

Offered as an enchanting minted video of the ‘Mother Flock’ with musical score by Masahiro Hiramoto, as well as fully integrated tracking hardware and software that enables an interactive experience for the collector, this digital and infinitely-changing artwork can be displayed on any screen or screen installation.

‘Mother Flock’ is the culmination of the ‘Life in Our Minds’ NFT project which consists of an animated collection of 990 unique, generative NFTs produced by the artists in collaboration with Pace Verso and OG.Art. The Mother Flock’s visual traits are informed by the real-time evolutions of its constituent Boids, bringing ideas about the power of both collective and individual action to the fore of the project. The artwork is a continuation of Random International’s exploration of the human tendency to ascribe character, intent and narrative to the complex behaviors of simple moving forms, as well as the subconscious instincts and emotional triggers that cause us to do so.
