Take one look inside Breast Surgeon Dr. Thomas Frazier's office at Bryn Mawr Hospital and you'll know he does his research. The latest edition of Imaging Technology News sits on his desk open to an article called "Advocating Breast Density" and, across the room, stacked copies of The Journal of Clinical Oncology. To say the least, Dr. Frazier is thorough. When the PBCC's Breast Density Notification Act took effect, Dr. Frazier applied for a grant to educate doctors at Bryn Mawr about what it means to have dense breasts and what patients should know. He wants to ensure that primary care doctors, ob/gyns and patients are armed with the information they need.

With the grant, Dr. Frazier and his colleagues host educational sessions for physicians to explain the importance of breast density in women's health. Dr. Frazier shared more about those sessions and why he felt compelled to act in a short video above. Thank you, Dr. Frazier!
