The continuation of YouTube posts of local bands, and this band happened to include my younger brother, who was the guitarist within their ranks.

This YouTube post will be of little interest to most, but no doubt interesting to some.

Slow Burn Red were basically The City Indians (not the Derby punk band from later on in the decade) but with a change of bass guitarists... Russell had left, and Simon had joined.

I have no photographs of Slow Burn Red (I have photographs of City Indians - see my YouTube post below for those photographs as visuals to a live recording as audio).

I blacked out ex bassist Russell's face on two of my old City Indians photographs, and added one photograph I took of Simon resting on a tube train on route to the Richmond pub to see Folk Devils with Tea House Camp and Ausgang supporting.

I also used some 'pencil drawing' filter photograph alteration thing just to be a flash git!

Slow Burn Red performed only one gig at the Tudor Hall supporting a band that hung around the goth / positive punk scene; 4 Came Home.

This is a cassette tape recording of that event.

I was there at the live performance, after all, the band consisted of three of my good friends from my old comprehensive school and my younger brother although I do not actually remember this event.

Anyhow, I like this live performance cassette tape although there must have been a load of on stage sound problems by the sound of it. Some of the songs are old City Indians songs.
