St Kilda Film Festival 2024 - Highlights

Thank you for coming to St Kilda Film Festival 2024! We couldn’t have asked for a better crowd to celebrate 40 Years of Top Shorts.

Over 11 days we brought you our biggest program yet, with 50+ sessions packed with over 200 incredible short films. We lit up screens at iconic venues the Astor Theatre and the Alex Theatre, and brought our sprawling program to beloved South Melbourne hotspots.

We hosted another Big Picture Filmmaker Development Day presented by JMC Academy to inspire and upskill developing filmmakers, filled The Espy with incredible First Nations live music and short films, and brought sparkling LGBTIQA+ stories to the Victorian Pride Centre.
