How to Make Oolong Milk Tea: A Simple and Delicious Recipe

Oolong milk tea is a rich, toasty, and floral drink that's super easy to make at home. This drink is made using a base of oolong tea, milk, and a sweetener of some kind. It tends to pair really well with additional toppings such as tapioca pearls, grass jelly, etc. Oolong milk teas are fun to drink since, like coffee, oolong teas are roasted and can range anywhere from a light roast (bright and floral) to a dark roast (smoky and nutty). The recipe below is my favorite way to make this drink!

► Ingredients:
10 grams (2 tbsp) quality oolong loose leaf tea (https://amzn.to/3ZJcPED)
200 ml hot water (85C/185F is ideal for brewing oolong)
200 ml ice (divided between shaker and final cup)
60 ml milk (use a high quality creamy/barista milk like this one: https://amzn.to/3UYanpu)

► Directions:
1. Add tea leaves into a teapot, fill with hot water, and steep for 10 minutes.
2. Add sweetener into the teapot (if needs to be dissolved).
3. Add ice, milk, and tea into a shaker and shake until well mixed.
4. Pour the drink from the shaker into a cup filled with ice and enjoy!
