Phnom Banan temple was built in the 11th century to dedicate to the Hindu gods but in the late 12th century. Temple was restored by king Jayavarman VII to dedicate to the Lokeshvara Buddha.
Phnom Banan temple has 358 laterite stone staircases and 101 meters in height.
