In today's video, I'll be opening and reviewing the brand new 2023 Topps Composite Football Mega Boxes. I did a previous video on the product breaking down a full value sheet for every hobby and retail format. The Mega Boxes, on paper, are poised to be the best retail product of 2023, and are even as good or better than the Composite Hobby Boxes.
The Mega Boxes sell for $50 in-store and online. Reseale boxes currently sit at $100 a box. Each box comes with 6 10-card packs for a total of 60 cards. The base set consists of 450 cards divided among 10 different subsets including Chrome, Resurgence, Finest, Cosmic, Midnight, Heritage, Gallerty, and more. The base set primarily consists of retired veterans and stars. There are 4 rookies to chase in CJ Stroud, Anthony Richardson, Bryce Young, and Will Levis. Expect to find 5 Chrome Inserts, 2 Exclusive Inserts, and 3 Parallels per box on average. Numbered cards will fall approxiamently 1-2 in every box, and autographs 1 in 2 boxes. The Mega boxes also have exclusive Blue and Orange Spark parallels that fall 1 in 2 boxes, as well.
Composite is an unlicensed product, but it features the first pack-pulled rookie autographs of CJ Stroud, Bryce Young, and Will Levis. Also chase autographs of Tom Brady and Anthony Richardson.
