How to keep grass with chickens around your yard. Grass for chickens for grass fed chicken feed. This is a how to video on how we make grazing boxes for our pet chickens. We don't grow much grass in our area of California, so we build these boxes and plant grow grass or other micro greens for our chickens to enjoy. The idea is that your chickens will not be able to pull the roots and ruin what is growing by scratching and pecking. They are only able to eat what rises above the hardware cloth, and the food will just continue to grow on it's own, simply by just watering.
