Larapinta Falls | Deep within Lamington National Park | Historical Plane Wreck

Join me in this video as I head out into a new section of the Lamington National Park in Queensland

Following Christmas Creek all the way from the low fields of farmland through the thick jungle to find the mighty Larapinta Falls

Spending hours without seeing another soul and trekking through a barely noticeable trail with pink tree markers every now and then was a challenge to say the least

Getting lost a few times as wandering off the "track" can be an easy thing to do if you are not 100% focused

Walking 18k's return in Grade 4 conditions was a true test on the mind and body although I'm glad I pushed through

The feeling when I got the the waterfall was of raw power and accomplishment

I pay my respects to the Yugambeh peoples and the Traditional Owners of the land that I travel on
