Responding to Trafficking in Persons for Forced Criminality – Roles of Multi-Disciplinary Team: Pornnipa Kumsom

A strong multi-disciplinary team enhances comprehensive support to survivors, especially in complex cases involving trafficking in women for forced criminality. While multi-disciplinary teams typically operate at the provincial level, effective coordination across provinces is vital for exchanging information and ensuring that survivors receive the assistance they need.

UN Women, in partnership with the Government of Japan, has been implementing a project to provide immediate support to survivors and mitigate and prevent the surge in trafficking in persons and other cyber-enabled harms along the Thailand-Myanmar border. FOCUS is one of the CSO partners supported through the project.
