KrakenSDR System Unboxing and Pre-Experiment Setup

Описание к видео KrakenSDR System Unboxing and Pre-Experiment Setup

If you found this video looking for instructions on setting up a KrakenSDR system for Direction Of Arrival, you are in the wrong place. This video is about another experimental use for that hardware that will NOT do Direction Of Arrival.

I finally sprang for the full-on KrakenSDR DOA system (Direction Of Arrival) for 2 main reasons:

1) The primary purpose of my designing another approach to Steffen's superluminal communication experiment is to get simple system that a secondary school physics class can conduct. This means it has to be affordable (ie: around $1000 beyond what a HS physics lab already has) and require only about 8 hours investment by the physics teacher in setting things up. This is a bargain for something that "proves Einstein wrong" and excites young minds to the possibility that maybe just maybe they can contribute something to science before they reach an advanced age after passing through the gauntlet of orthodoxy to get tenure.

2) I tried several other, less expensive, methods of getting a reliable phase detection system to stabilize and was unsuccessful, in addition to the added complexity of trying to keep things cheap which would require more time on the part of the physics teacher than could be allocated to "crackpot" physics.
