In 2008, Luise and Julie went to Warendorf, Germany's "City of Horses" to interview Dr Gerd Heuschmann, a whistleblowing FEI veterinarian of budding notoriety who had the audacity to suggest that all was not well in the discipline of dressage. The rest is history.

By strong and insistent demand, here's the original feature. Notice how the "bad" examples from 16 years ago look quite good by today's standards. Somewhere, there's a part two of this interview. We're looking for it at the moment.
