Winter Steelhead Fishing on the Big Manistee River

Описание к видео Winter Steelhead Fishing on the Big Manistee River

The Big Manistee River near Manistee, Michigan is world famous for it's steelhead fishery. In the winter time, this river system attracts countless chrome giants and one of the best ways to catch them is using a tiny jig baited with a wax worm and fished below a float. The Yakima Maxi Jig and Maxi Float are featured on this episode featuring Mark and river guide Bob Ison of Another Limit Charters. Mark is also joined by steelheading enthusiast Bryan Darland of Jay's Sporting Goods. The team literally put the smack down on big steelhead taking advantage of something called the winter bug bite.
