Ellie Plays In The Flood ft. Ariana Gillis from Horizon Forbidden West - TLOU2 Guitar Cover

How I made this: I roughly performed this on piano and made a MIDI file which I then edited, then wrote some PS4 controller hacking code to convert the MIDI file into button presses (see more about hardware below).

I then downloaded In The Flood (by Oleksa Lozowchuk, Lovisa Bergdahl) and used an online AI tool to separate vocals by Ariana Gillis from the instruments. This mostly worked but I had to tweak some things in the audio file and add back some verb. You can still hear some artifacts from the original that persisted through the separation, but it also adds nicely to the music. It aint perfect but also aint too bad :)

I tried to keep the music true to form as much as possible but took certain creative liberties. I may have gotten some of the harmonies wrong but it sounds decent to my untrained ear.

Hardware: This stems from my "Viewers Control Chaos" project that lets users change how my controller works. With a few tweaks I can apply some advanced macros like this. Though I could previously spoof button presses and joystick angles, the touchpad was only something that could be read. Recent hacking at code let me fake touchpad inputs so that I can perform inhuman actions on the guitar.
