Brakes cause friction on tires and that's why they wear out. Worn brakes are not only dangerous but can lead to damage of other parts. Don’t ignore the warning light for new brakes. In addition, watch and listen for screeching or grinding when you press the brake pedal, a vibration in the steering wheel or pedal, or taking a longer distance than normal to stop your vehicle. These are all signs that brakes may need replacement.

About Honda CRV.

The Honda CR-V is a comfortable runabout vehicle, as some say its acronym suggests. A four-door, five-passenger crossover, the Honda CR-V comes with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and 5-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel FWD drive is standard; all-wheel AWD drive is optional.

Is the 2014 Honda CR-V a Good SUV?
The CR-V is an excellent compact SUV and a great value. In fact, it was named 2014 Best Compact SUV for the Money by US News & World Report. The CR-V has a comfortable ride, outstanding fuel economy, good legroom, and a long list of standard tech features.

Which Model Year of the Honda CR-V Is Best?
The fourth-generation CR-V debuted with the 2012 CR-V. Choosing a 2012 or 2013 model instead of a 2014 model will save you money, and you’ll get many of the same features. For 2015, the CR-V received fresher styling, a retuned suspension, and a longer options list, including numerous advanced safety features & a new CVT powertrain which is stronger but more fuel efficient.

Alternatives to the 2014 Honda CR-V include other small crossovers such as the Chevrolet Equinox, the recently redesigned Ford Escape, the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport or Tucson, the sporty Mazda CX-5, and the Toyota RAV4.
