Sen. Imee Marcos has filed a resolution for Senate hearings into allegations made by supposed former members of the Philippine Marine Corps that they made cash deliveries to top officials and lawmakers and even to personnel of the International Criminal Court.

The 18 men claimed to have acted as "bagmen" deliver P805 billion to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., former House Speaker Martin Romualdez of Leyte, and former Ako Bicol Party-list Rep. Zaldy Co.

Co, who is considered a fugitive from justice, is among the central figures in the controversy surrounding corruption in flood control projects.

The former soldiers also claimed to have delivered money to former Sen. Antonio Trillanes V and to staff of the ICC, which is holding confirmation of charges hearings in former President Rodrigo Duterte's crimes against humanity case at The Hague in the Netherlands.

Trillanes, a vocal Duterte critic, on Tuesday denied he "received $2M or any amount from Zaldy Co for the ICC investigation or any other purpose."

He said the claim is meant to discredit the proceedings over the Duterte administration's "war on drugs."
