Shot next to Newblock trial across the concrete canal next to the baseball field. The Mississippi Kites show up around 9:00 Am. This was my 3rd try at videoing this beautiful raptor. I switched from the canon R6M2 camera to my R7 w the same RF 100-500mm. The extra focal length finally gave me enough to crop pieces at 25% speed. At least there is enough to identify the bird. These birds change direction so often that it hard to track them. I'm taking my RF7 with the RF800 tomorrow. Hoping to get longer shots.
