How to knit the daisy stitch

Описание к видео How to knit the daisy stitch

The Daisy stitch is a beautiful stitch in knitting the mimics petals of a flower - much like a daisy.

These little flowers, have three petals or stitches that are created on a wrong side row: Purl 3Together, Yarn Over, Purl 3 Together
In between these Daisies, you Knit One stitch.
Every other Row is a Knit row.

Breaking it down:
Row 1: K1, [P3Tog, YO, P3Tog] Repeat to end of row.
Row 2: Knit all stitches
Row 3: K1, P1, K1, [P3Tog, YO, P3Tog]* Repeat to end of row.
Row 4: Knit all Stitches.

I've used this here in the Dashing in Fasching Crescent shawl pattern which modifies these four rows a bit but you can get more information on the pattern here: www.knittinginthepark.com/dashing-in-fasching/
