Repairing the spark plug hole threads on the Excursion V10 with CalVan Tools 38900 kit

In this episode we address one of Fords biggest screw ups on the Modular V10 engine, the dreaded spark plug hole threads. We use the CalVan Tools 38900 kit to do a permanent fix. The process is involved but doable with the right tools. We used:

7mm socket for removing ignition coil, 10 mm socket for removing bracket on top of cylinders 8 and 9. various 1/4" and 3/8" ratchets and extensions. Oil and filter change after completing the repair.
