Vitamin B7 is biotin used as a cofactor for carboxylases such as:
pyruvate carboxylase, acetyl-CoA carboxylase, propionyl-CoA carboxylase

a deficiency presents with dermatitis, glossitis, alopecia

Vitamin B9 is folate used in DNA and RNA synthesis after being turned into THF (tetrahydrofolate).

A deficiency leads to macrocytic and megaloblastic anemia, hypersegmented polymorphonuclear cells, and an increase in homocysteine levels. Can be caused by phenytoin, sulfonamides, and methotrexate.
