दुनिया की सबसे ज्यादा उड़ने वाली एयरबस A320 सीरीज के विमानों में एक बड़ी तकनीकी खामी सामने आई है जो सीधे उड़ान सुरक्षा से जुड़ी है. सोलर रेडिएशन यानी सूरज से आने वाली तेज ऊर्जा ने इन विमानों के फ्लाइट कंट्रोल सिस्टम को प्रभावित करने का खतरा पैदा कर दिया है. इसके बाद एयरबस ने दुनिया भर की एयरलाइंस को तुरंत सॉफ्टवेयर अपडेट करने का आदेश दिया है. साथ ही आदेश में कहा गया है कि जरूरत होने पर हार्डवेयर रिप्लेस करें और तब तक सावधानी बरतें जब तक पूरा अपग्रेड नहीं हो जाता. यह एयरबस के 55 साल के इतिहास में सबसे बड़ा रिकॉल ऑपरेशन कहा जा रहा है. करीब 6000 फ्लाइट्स पर इसका सीधा असर पड़ेगा. असर भारत में भी दिखने लगा है. इंडिगो, एअर इंडिया और एअर इंडिया एक्सप्रेस की उड़ानों में देरी देखने को मिल रही है.

Solar radiation, or intense energy from the sun, has threatened to impact the aircraft's flight control systems. Following this, Airbus has ordered airlines worldwide to immediately update the software, replace hardware if necessary, and exercise caution until a complete upgrade is complete. This is said to be the largest recall in Airbus' 55-year history. It will directly impact approximately 6,000 flights. The impact is already being felt in India. Flights operated by IndiGo, Air India, and Air India Express are experiencing delays.
