Isaac Levitan used one of the simplest compositions to create his greatest masterpiece. In this video, I explain how he did it and what steps you can take to do the same.

I use landscape paintings of the 19th century Russian Master Isaac Levitan to explain how to see the vast open landscape in front of you abstractly, how to learn from the works of the masters, and how to implement this knowledge in your studies of the landscape drawing and painting.
