A dramatic story of Nenets, their aspiration for a city life, a modern world, also to try to hold on to the roots, emotional struggle between characters of jealousy, anguish, love and, survival.

Nenets, presently are in a very small number. All Natives, similar stories. Different tribes, different languages, one land, stretches till Siberia where most of this tribe is. They too were forced for schools in earlier stages. Later, young ones had aspirations of city life and opted for it. Present mining, oil and, research stuff are destroying their turf. Thankfully few managed to keep up the old traditions and language by elders or few who were keen to stick to the old ways like in this movie. A Nenets friend of mine, Pixie is on one of the island in AK where he has three more families along. They were stuck when US bought off Alaska.
