Preventing the Stove Pipe Jam - Part 3, Ruger Mark IV, Polishing the Inner part of the Receiver

Описание к видео Preventing the Stove Pipe Jam - Part 3, Ruger Mark IV, Polishing the Inner part of the Receiver

This is now part 3 of this series of videos. In this video I polish the inside of the receiver, which in the video I mistakenly call the barrel. This is to prevent gunpowder from sticking to it, so I get crisp clean action on every single shot.

I want to be able to shoot any ammo I want, I don't want to have to worry about stove pipes and I want the gun to preform without worry. I think all of us want that from our guns. So the next time I take this Ruger Mark IV to a competition I will not have any jams, no stove pipes, at all period end of story.

I believe the trick is really in keeping that bolt going the same speed for as long as possible. However with the standard finish Ruger put on this competition series gun, gunpowder was sticking to the bolt and the receiver like glue causing and expensive gun to fail, over and over again.
