Where was the Republic of Ireland's first official senior international match played? The answer lies in Paris and the 1924 Olympic football tournament. RTÉ Sport's Raf Diallo examines the history of the Irish squad which travelled to the French capital 100 years ago to play in matches at the Stade Yves du Manoir and Stade Bauer that until this year were no longer recognised as full internationals.

Members of the 1924 Centenary Committee Gerry Farrelly and Gary Spain share their insights into the players from Ireland's first official squad as well as the process which led to the FAI recognising the team's exploits, plus descendants of the players talk about their ancestors' stories.
