With this video I want to make a quick announcement. The video series that includes giveaways will be unfortunately terminated. The idea behind the series was to explore in a weekly video different corners of the world and by solving a simple challenge, one would qualify for the contest. Basically giving out cash prizes for a minimal effort. Everything went well for a while, and I thought the genuine viewers interested in the idea would participate. But the temptation of free money was too big for some and they felt compelled to cheat the other fans of their fair chance. So they began entering with fake accounts and bots inflicting double damage. Several attempts to discourage these tactics were somewhat efficient, but didnt completely succeed in repelling the cheaters.

What are the consequences? On one side like i've mentioned, honest participants were robbed of their fair chance. On the other hand they.ve ruined the youtube metrics, making the algorithm understand that the videos were uninteresting. These lead to the situation where the weekly videos were no longer pushed to new audiences. Needless to say, this trend made the channel unattractive for sponsorships. Which leads us to the current situation, where the channel lost its sponsor.

As I have always been a fan of transparency and I like keeping the community updated with the evolution of the channel, I wanted to make this video and bring you the news.

But, not all hope is lost. As I still enjoy making these videos for you on the topic of geography, general knowledge and quizzes, I will have to evaluate the idea of a new format that would reward only the authentic viewers.

Youtube requires 4000 watch hours for a channel to qualify for ad revenue and since the channel doesnt meet the requirements and like a ive mentioned no more sponsorship, i wil have to seek other methods to fund the prizes. We.ll see how it goes.
