Marshall is our movie master and wants to let you know about the highest grossing movies of 2015… even though Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens JUST came out and shattered all these records in 2 weeks. That said, here are the highest grossing movies of 2015 SO FAR.

The 3rd highest grossing movie was Avengers: Age of Ultron which took in a whopping $460,000,000 on it’s FIRST WEEKEND! Not too shabby. The Marvel franchise has now overtaken Harry Potter, and it looks like Harry Potter is not too pleased to hear the news…

The 2nd highest grossing movie is my personal favorite out of the three, Furious 7. The movie coincided with the death of main star, Paul Walker (in a Porsche GT3, nonetheless) and featured a moving tribute to the late star.

And the highest grossing movie of 2015 was Jurassic World, the latest addition to the Jurassic franchise. It grossed a whopping $1.6 billion dollars. For you McDonald’s lovers out there, that’s the equivalent of 401,002,506 Big Macs.
