Raleigh North Carolina | RV Travel Vlog

This week, we introduce you to one of Stacie's childhood friends! Ronda serves as our tour guide as we visit beautiful, historic Raleigh NC.

One of our favorite things about full time RV life is that we can easily visit friends and family across the USA. We've been working on getting to Raleigh and North Carolina to see Ronda and her family for years. And we are so glad we finally made it.

We'll take you along as we visit a historic cemetery, Dorothea Dix Park, Pullen Park, Yates Mill County Park (and its historic Grist Mill) and an awesome farmers' market!

We'll also share a bit about our campsite in the Holly Point Campground, which is part of the Falls Lake State Recreation Area. Was it a good choice to serve as basecamp for exploring the Raleigh, Durham, Chappel Hill, Research Triangle area of North Carolina?

By the way, in the video we mention that at the time of our visit Holly Point Campground offered 30amp electric service. Because of our 48volt lithium batteries and solar panels, we were able to run both of our RV's air conditioners and anything else we wanted as if we were plugged into 50amp electric! (And as you can see in the video, it was pretty warm and humid while we were there!)
