The screen time debate, it's everywhere. But in our world, we've chosen a different path with two key rules.

First, a strict sleep schedule - no compromises. One of the moms I coached faced an early battle with epilepsy in her daughter, teaching us the value of quality sleep and minimal screen time.

I've seen first hand how excessive screen time can affect a child's development. My coachee's daughter faced speech delays, and it was a challenge. Research backs this up, showing links to issues like attention struggles, delayed social skills, and sleep disturbances. It's a slippery slope.

As a mom, I can't say that screen time is okay. But as a mom coach, I understand that sometimes you need a moment to yourself, and you want your kids to have some of the experiences their peers are having.

So, let's find a balance that works for you and your kids. It's about curating a fun routine with rules that kids enjoy, incorporating practices for healthy habits.
