I think the LectroFan Evo and LectroFan Classic are both robust, loud, and effective white noise machines that mask external noise very well.

The Evo looks more modern, includes two additional ocean surf sounds, and has a useful headphone jack for private listening. The Classic is usually lower priced and is a bit louder, but not by much really. Other than that, I think it boils down to personal preference with no clear winner.

Just keep in mind that neither of them has other nature sounds like rain, crickets, thunder, or river. They are what I'd call white noise specialists, and probably better for adults than kids.
