Vakilabad Park has long been considered one of the large and ancient parks of Mashhad. This beautiful forest park, with its old trees such as pine, plane, cypress, as well as the presence and flow of various streams and a seasonal river along its path, attracts the attention of pilgrims and residents of the neighboring city of Qods in Mashhad.

Vakilabad Park, due to its antiquity and location in a pristine valley with pleasant weather, has been of interest to the city's residents and travelers for a long time. Known in the past as "Mir Taraz" or "Vakilabad Garden," the park was officially dedicated to public use in 1969 by its owner, Mr. Hossein Malek, and was entrusted to the Mashhad Municipality. Vakilabad Park is known as one of the pleasant climate areas and remains a point of interest for the residents of Mashhad as well as visitors on Mashhad tours. The birds observed in this park include the Greater Flamingo, Black-Winged Stilt, Common Kingfisher, Grey Wagtail, Parakeet, and Little Cormorant.

Vakilabad Park features a special walking path, a ping-pong table, a foosball table, and a 5D cinema among its other attractions.
