Satsangh with Bro Amey Deshpande -13th February 2023

Bro Amey Deshpande hails from Maharashtra, India and was a student of the Sri Sathya Sai Primary School, Prasanthi Nilayam from 1990 to 1993.
He acquired his Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Bangalore University. He then pursued Chartered Accountancy. He has worked briefly with Hewlett Packard in their Financial Services Centre at Bangalore. During this time, he was a member of the Brindavan Bhajan group and also a Brindavan Sevadal. In 2003, he enrolled for the MBA (Finance) programme at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning.

Thereafter, at Bhagawan’s behest he registered for the MPhil programme in 2006 and was awarded the Gold medal in 2007, for distinction in MPhil. He completed his doctoral studies in 2016 in the area of corporate strategy from the Department of Management and Commerce, Prashanthi Nilayam. During this period he also taught the students of the MBA program, subjects including strategic management, corporate financial strategy, management control systems and the awareness program.

He deems it a privilege to be a member of the Prasanthi bhajan group.

In 2017, the Sri Sathya Sai Centre for Human Values (CHV) was established in Prasanthi Nilayam, under the auspices of the Sri Sathya Sai Central trust. It has been mandated to carry out research and training in the teachings of Bhagawan Baba. Dr Amey works there as a resident fellow. He is now involved in developing and conducting training programs in the Swami’s teachings - including for genres of professionals and organization office bearers. The CHV is involved in research and conducts training programs such as the Sri Sathya Sai Adhyatma Vidya and Pragathi Patham courses, in addition to workshops and exhibitions.

He has also participated in various Radio Sai (now known as Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre) satsang programs and regularly speaks in various forums, nationally and internationally for the organization members.
