Shadow Attorney-General Andrew Wallace MP explains why the Coalition supported key elements of Labor’s Combatting Antisemitism, Hate and Extremism Bill 2026, while forcing major changes to fix a rushed and flawed process.

Speaking on ABC News Breakfast, Mr Wallace outlines how the amended laws strengthen penalties for radicalisation, protect minors, and finally give government the power to shut down extremist hate groups like neo-Nazis and Hizb ut-Tahrir.

He also calls out the Prime Minister for sidelining Parliament, running a sham inquiry, and turning national security into a political wedge after the Bondi Beach terror attack.
