This Basic Technique Paid Off Big Time With Trout & Redfish

Southeast Louisiana Inshore Fishing
Just when you think you have the fish figured out, they inevitably surprise you. Based on my last few trips, I thought deep water was the ticket, but I found a pile of fish in inches of water on this trip. A good reminder to keep an open mind every time you are on the water, regardless of what happened on the last trip or what some dude posts on Youtube (me) lol. I have noticed a pattern lately that the Redfish are biting on rising tides more than falling tide, but the Speckled Trout are biting on rising or falling tide, just as long as it is moving. This could change tomorrow, but just something to think about, especially if you are targeting Redfish
