There is an ongoing war on sexuality in our culture today against our values, morals, and beliefs. It is being fought through the internet, television, media, and in nearly every area of life. Men, women, and children are being negatively affected. Nearly half of all men in churches admit to struggling with pornography. The porn industry has grown into one of the largest businesses in the world. But behind all this, the enemy is after your destiny and the destinies of the godly men and women of this generation.
Throughout Scripture, we have seen the battle for sexual purity waged:
— Joseph resisted Potiphar’s wife and was raised to lead Egypt
— Samson gave into sexual temptation and his life was destroyed
— Esther had to be a virgin to become the queen
— Mary fulfilled her destiny through the virgin birth of Jesus
The pattern is clear: if the enemy can seduce you, he can reduce you. Their aim is to rob you of the future God has for you. Your destiny can change lives if you can reach your full potential, and that is what this course is all about.
If you’ve made mistakes in the past, know this: the blood of Jesus Christ is greater than your sin. His forgiveness is available for you and can wash away your past so you can step into the destiny God has designed for you. Sexual sin grieves the heart of God and hurts everyone around us. However, God’s grace empowers us to live clean and victorious.
There's no such thing as a "secret place." God sees every click, every image, every text, and every look. Satan’s plan is for you to live in immorality and for you to compromise yourself sexually.
Revelation 2:26 says: “To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations.” When you live clean, God blesses you spiritually, emotionally, financially, and in every area of life. God will give you a greater destiny than anything you could ever imagine if you guard your heart and live in purity. Even authority over the nations!
Prayerfully consider your boundaries around TV, the internet, social media, and with who you're contacting. Identify your weak points, whether it’s media, games, work, relationships, or other avenues. Guard yourself against how you know the enemy will attack you. The enemy has declared war on men all over the world. So, as Christian men, we must fight well!
God has already said He has great plans for you, so start making your life clean. Create clean habits. Think clean thoughts. Help others live clean too.
