Anyone advancing up through the ranks has to start steering if they intend to go into the wheelhouse. Today we have a Mate trainee that is a true natural and will not have any trouble becoming a Mate. While waiting for the ship's crew to receive our lines, we talk about different things in the industry that some people get wrong (like where a ship is from).
