Auto Charging By Subcooling w/ The Testo 560i Scale and Smart Valve

The Testo 560i Scale and Smart Valve allows HVAC and refrigeration techs to manually charge or auto charge by sub-cooling, superheat or weight. In this video I experiment with the auto sub-cooling portion.

The 560i scale and smart valve can be paired to a 557s or 550s manifold or Testo Smart app. If you're using an older manifold, ensure to perform an update using the Testo Smart app to add the "Refrigerant Filling" line to measurements section of the manifold. The smart valve can be opened to purge out refrigerant lines by by pressing the button 3 times quickly which is a nice feature.
