I heard a high pitch squealing noise coming from my furnace. It turned out that the inducer motor was the culprit. I figured that it was the bearings, which were covered with sawdust, that were making the noise. Instead of replacing the motor i decided to try and clean the sawdust and oil the bearings. Even though it was possibly a sealed bearing motor, i thought a little oil would help.
