The Astonishing Joshua Tree Hike You've Never Heard Of

You guys will not believe this Joshua Tree hike! To be fair, it's more of a class 3 climb than a hike, but four miles of scrambling through the Joshua Tree boulders is all we need for some true type 1 fun. The trail is not on any Joshua Tree park maps that we know of, so let us know if you're interested in getting the beta. If you're looking for a winter hiking adventure (especially now that the winter storms have dumped a hefty load of snow on top of our mountains and closed a ton of roads) definitely consider putting this on your list as a southern California hiking classic.

DISCLAIMER: This route consists of all class 2 and class 3 climbing. It is not a well established trail and careful route finding and scrambling skills are required. We are experienced class 3 climbers and scramblers, and we always bring appropriate equipment and safety gear with us. We do NOT recommend doing this route.
