The Clow Wet Barrel Fire Hydrants are designed for working pressure of 200 PSI The hydrant head shall be made of iron, gray or ductile (800-900 series), or copper alloy (2000 series).
Valves shall be designed independent of each other and remain fully functional over the rated working pressure.
Hose and pumper nozzles threads conforms to National Standard (NST) Fire Hose Coupling Screw Threads, ASA B-26, unless otherwise specified. Hose outlets diameters include.
2 1/2” or 3”, pumper outlets shall be 4” or 4 1/2”. All outlet nozzles shall be field removable.
Protector caps are available in iron, plastic or copper alloy and shall be securely chained to the hydrant barrel and furnished with or without an inner gasket as specified.
Standard nut size of the valve stem and protector caps shall be pentagonal in shape and measure 1 1/8” from point to flat.
Nut sizes measuring 1 1/2” and 1 3/4” can also be furnished when specified.
Exterior of hydrant shall receive a two-part, self-priming polyurethane paint coat; other finishes may be provided upon request.
Clow Valve Company offers a 10-year limited warranty.
