How to Remove A 2018 - 2021 Chevy Equinox Tail Light - Change Replace Brake Lamp Bulb Replacement

The Chevrolet Equinox owner's manual contains the following information on the removal and replacement of the tail lights and Brake light;
1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the two screw covers from the Equinox tail lamp assembly.
3. Remove the two screws securing the Equinox taillight assembly.
4. Pull the taillamp assembly out of the Equinox body.
5. Disconnect the lamp wiring harness.
6. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise and pull it out.
7. Pull the light bulb straight out of the socket.
8. Install the new light bulb.
9. Push the bulb socket in and turn it clockwise.
10. Reverse Steps 2–5 to reinstall the lamp assembly to you Chevrolet Equinox
