Step by Step Tutorial
In Toolbar, Line Segment Tool(\) Click and hold Mouse Button for More Option Choose Rectangular Grid Tool, After Selecting Rectangular Grid Tool Double click to open option window
In Rectangular Grid Tool option window Set Horizontal Dividers to 4, Skew to 50% and Vertical Dividers 4, skew 50% Ok
Click on Artboard Hold and Drag to make Square
Strokes to none, Ctrl A to select all
Shape Builder Tool (Shift M), Pick a Black Color in Swatches (Window Swatches) and click to make shape according to Chequer board like Effect
Resize your Pattern Grid, select All, Rotate Tool (R ) Press and hold Alt Key and Click on Bottom Right Anchor point to set Rotation Point type 90 in Rotate Tool option window press Copy
Ctrl D to Repeat
Group Ctrl G Group or Mouse Right Click Group
Shape Builder Tool (Shift M), Pick a Red Color in Swatches (Window Swatches) and click to make Red shapes
Window Align, Select Align to Artboard, use Horizontal align center and Vertical Align Center
