The green holiday villain was taken into custody and transported to the Gray County Jail, in a light-hearted incident that drew some attention online.

Local authorities said the arrest was made after the Grinch was spotted taking presents, prompting police intervention. “We have to save Christmas. He can’t be going around stealing all the presents,” the local sheriff said.
