In this video we take a trip to Elkhorn Slough Research Reserve. The reserve sits on an estuary and offers many different hiking trails with chances to get up and close with different birds and sea animals. Our trip was relatively quiet, except for a few bird sightings, but that didn't spoil the fun. There were many inspiring views throughout the hike and the little guy clocked a total of 4 miles distance all on his own. I would highly recommend this hike for any one with young kids, as the trails are flat and well paved. There are ample opportunities for photos during the hike and too many trails to cover for most folks in one day. Admission is also free!
