Green Tench and Ham - Lift Method Tench Fishing

With a recent fishing trip being devoid of Tench, I decided to head along to Ham Green Lake near Bristol to try and track one or two down, and hopefully a big one!

One of the quintessential ways of targeting Tench is to find a stunningly beautiful lake surrounded by trees and nature and wildlife, water lilies painting the surface of the water, and rig up a float rod with the best rig to catch Tench, the Lift Method Rig. And that's exactly the scenario here.

Angling is an amazing tonic to help sufferers of mental health issues, and today is a day to let depression drift away, bask in the gloriousness of nature, and come face to face with a big Tench!
