This is a tricky one because a lot of people have a misconception about what the rules are here in Florida. It is not illegal to drink alcohol and operate a boat. It is illegal to drink alcohol to the point that your normal faculties are impaired or you're above the legal limit while operating a boat here in Florida, and that level is different for everybody.
