As some my know, I was/am involved in child protection.
This is a real story of a child and some of the things that happened to him and his sister, toned down of course.

Children's services were involved and for the whole extent, I can see the utter lack of duty of care, out right abuse of power and total voidance of doing the job they are employed to do.

As we know these types of stories I have known first hand, having worked in the high courts across the UK and Europe. The children are safe it was a long fight. damaged but there okay but lack support and wider services they need.
Not sure as its been a while since they bothered to do their jobs.
